The new product enables users to purchase cryptocurrencies using debit and credit cards instead of having to send ether to the application in advance. The users can deposit a maximum daily amount of $400 to the wallet through Visa or Mastercard and the Wyre API.
The Ethereum wallet also supports the Transak payments platform to allow users to purchase cryptocurrencies factoring in KYC documentation.
MetaMask charges gas fees despite the claim that the company does not gain from the same. The fee is about 0.875% in all the transactions.
MetaMask wallet has surpassed 30 million monthly active users to become one of the most popular cryptocurrency wallets available.
