Stealth Trader is a Forex expert advisor that claims to have generated a profit of 1250% in little over a year. It is a 100% automated system backed by verified trading results. According to the developer, this system is compatible with any size account.
The parent company behind this EA is known as LeapFX. It is based in New York, United States. We don’t know when this company was founded and there is very little background information on the developers. The chief developer is Greg Jones who was at the helm of an online trading platform for 12 years. Some of the other robots from this team include Funnel Trader 2.0, Automic Trader, DynaScalp, AX Trader, The Fund Trader, Easy Money X-Ray Robot, and Trade Explorer.
Stealth Trader strategies and tests
The vendor recommends trying this robot on a demo account first, prior to live trading. It does not require any manual efforts from your end to function properly. You simply need to load it on your MT4 platform, confirm the in-built parameters and log into your account to check your profits.
The developer programmed the robot to trade in GBP/JPY, due to its sharp price movements, wide ranges, and unrelenting volatility. This pair generates multiple trading opportunities on a regular basis. The developer claims that this is a low drawdown system and that it’s designed to trade with minimum loss while maximizing gains. It avoids using risky strategies like grid and martingale.
When you become a member, you get access to the full software program coded with auto-optimized settings. After you select the risk, you don’t need to make any adjustments to the settings. The developer provides a detailed setup guide with setup instructions and the best recommendations for maximizing performance. The EA rarely needs updates, but members are eligible for all software updates. There is no proper explanation provided for the trading strategy, which makes it difficult to gauge the EA’s profitability.
This backtest was conducted from January 2018 to March 2022. During the testing period, the EA conducted 1060 trades, winning 77% of them and generating a total profit of $2,652.28. It managed daily and monthly gains of 0.05% and 1.43%, respectively. The drawdown was 10.49%, which can be considered acceptable for trading, while the profit factor was quite decent at 1.39.
Stealth Trader live trading account review
Here we have a live trading account on Myfxbook that was launched on October 31, 2021. During the short time, it has been active in the live market, the EA has conducted a total of 324 trades. It currently has a win rate of 75%, which is slightly low compared to the backtest, but it’s still quite high compared to other systems.
The profit factor for this account is 1.20, while the daily and monthly gains are 0.54% and 17.41%, respectively. Relative to the backtest, the average monthly gain is much higher. The drawdown is quite high at 30.42%, and this tells us that the EA is following a risky trading strategy. It is interesting to know that the account owner has hidden some key parameters like profit, interest, deposits, withdrawals, and balance.
From recent trading history, we can see that the EA frequently suffers consecutive losses. The average length of each trade is 42 minutes. The robot has a fairly high trading frequency and it conducts multiple trades on a daily basis.
There are two pricing plans for this robot, one for a yearly membership and the other one for a lifetime membership. The yearly membership costs $347, while the lifetime membership is available for $597. Compared to the market average price for EAs, the plans are quite expensive. Also, the vendor offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
On the Forex Peace Army website, there are few reviews for LeapFX, although there are none for this particular robot. Here several users have complained about their accounts blowing up.
