The new service will allow users to pay for NFTs using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Google Pay without the need to convert funds into cryptocurrencies.
The payment method is meant to extend the platform’s marketplace beyond the native token and covers primary and secondary NFT sales minting and airdrops.
MoonPay notes that the new feature will be unveiled in phases to selected users, where those using OpenSea will have to have the tokens in their wallets.
All the non-fungible tokens are supported natively on OpenSea, with all the deliveries managed on-chain exempting users from having to go outside of the platform to pay.
MoonPay unveiled its service offering for NFT purchased via credit cards in January. Mastercards has also partnered with Coinbase to allow users to pay for NFTs with credit and debit cards.
