NOKIA is up 5.72%, while VOD is down 1.95%.
Nokia said the two companies could boost Vodafone Turkey’s IP network capacity by as much as 10 times in support of next-generation applications through its 7950 XRS routers.
The terabit IP link simplifies operational complexity and bypasses the need to distribute flows on high capacity routes, to reduce overhead costs.
Vodafone Turkey is scaling up its UP network, with Nokia supplying the transport architecture. Nokia’s products are already in use in Vodafone’s low latency 5G services.
Nokia IP Networks Division Head Vach Kompella said the trial is a step closer in future-proofing Vodafone Turkey’s IP network which serves one of the biggest intercontinental markets.
