FIFA announces that cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com will be an official sponsor for its upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

In a Wednesday announcement, the governing body stated that Crypto.com’s branding will be displayed both inside and outside all the stadiums hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 set to start in November.
The crypto exchange also announced that it will provide opportunities for its users to attend the event and win official merchandise due to the new sponsorship.
Kay Madati, Chief Commercial Officer of FIFA stated that the deal will help to promote games on a global scale, indicating Crypto.com’s partnerships with other companies around the world.
In November, the crypto exchange signed a deal to rename the Los Angeles-based sports and entertainment venue Staples Center to the Crypto.com Arena for the next 20 years.
Crypto.com has the potential to reach greater international audience considering the popularity of soccer across the world.
