BTC is down 2.93%, while ETH is down 2.90%.
Ether’s market capitalization is expected to at least breach $20 trillion by 2030, equivalent to a price of around $170,000 to $180,000 per ETH. This is based on the smart contracts and decentralized applications on Ethereum.
The price of Bitcoin is expected to reach $1.36 million by then, as Ark Invest believes the digital token is likely to scale as more nation-states adopt it as legal tender. This is equivalent to a market capitalization of $28.5 trillion.
Ark Invest sees Bitcoin account for half of the global remittances by 2030, a tenth of the currency of emerging markets, a fourth of settlement volumes in the United States, and 1% of nation-state treasuries across the globe.
Growth in the last two years has been driven by decentralized finance, which promises higher interoperability and transparency.
