The country’s exports and imports rose by $0.4B to $224.2 billion and by $13.4B to $304.4 billion, respectively, month on month in November.
The Commerce Department stated that the November growth in goods and services signaled an increase in the goods deficit of $15.1B to $99.0 billion and in the services surplus of $2.1B to $18.8 billion.
The US recorded a bilateral trade deficit of $19.4B with the EU, an increase of $2.8 billion month-on-month in November.
The US’s exports to the EU increased by $0.5 billion to $24.4 billion as imports from the union rose by $2.2 billion to $43.8 billion.
