Roblox estimates revenue to be between $194 million and $197 million for the month of May, reflecting growth of between 28% and 30%. First-quarter revenue stood at $537.1 million.
Double-digit jumps were recorded in daily active users, which increased by 17% to 50.4 million from the same month last year, and in hours engaged, which climbed by 10% to 3.6 billion.
Estimated bookings were between $196 million and $199 million, indicating a drop of between 9% and 11% from the past year. Estimated average bookings per daily active user fell between 23% and 24% to a range of $3.89 to $3.95.
Roblox said bookings were impacted by the appreciation of the US dollar against the euro, the British pound, and other foreign currencies, which were more pronounced in May.
Foreign currency fluctuations were estimated to have a 4% reduction impact on the annual growth rate for the month.
