The Paris-headquartered Ledger announced that it was moving to support ADA back in April of this year.
In the announcement, Ledger stated that Cardano-related features are now available on Ledger Live’s desktop version as mobile support is “coming soon.”
The firm indicated that with the ADA integration, Ledger Live now supports the top 10 cryptos by market capitalization. Users must create an ADA account but do not need to create an extra wallet. They can purchase crypto directly via the applications.
The French crypto hardware wallet manufacturer’s support impressed the Cardano community when it was first unveiled, with the integration’s rollout being applauded.
Cardano has been outperforming Ethereum over the last few weeks and is already 88% up against its recent low. Cardano is significant as it rivals Ethereum as a blockchain network.
