LINE NFT will be hosted on the firm’s blockchain, and users wishing to mint NFTs on the platform must use LINE BITMAX wallet. The exchange of the assets will be completed through the wallet service.
Some of the partnerships include one with entertainment franchise Yoshimoto Kogyo and video game developers Square Enix and Manga Patlabor.
Part of Line’s plan is to publish NFTs in its official stamps and stickers and use digital collectibles as prizes in various social media promotions.
The platform, which will become the first crypto collectibles mall based in the island nation, will be available in more than 180 countries and is part of the company’s attempts to boost revenues.
