Cryptocurrency derivative exchange FTX is testing its new stock trading service with a limited number of US users, with plans to extend it to all the American customers soon.

The exchange will reportedly allow the customers to trade stocks and exchange-traded funds on its trading app together with bitcoin and dogecoin.
The FTX US subsidiary President Brett Harrison says that the application will eventually offer trading in other asset classes like futures in the same interface. The company is eying a one-in-all financial services application.
Harrison says that the company plans to include commission-free stock trading like major US online brokerage firms. The executive has ruled out the payment for order flow in the offering.
FTX began working on the stock trading option in January and opened a waitlist the following month. The company says more details on the offering will come on Thursday.
