Industrial producer prices in both the Eurozone and EU increased by 1.1% in February compared to the prior month.

Over the previous 12 months, producer prices surged 31.4% in the euro area and 31.1% in the entire bloc.
Intermediate goods contributed to the overall monthly increase, rising 1.6% and 1.5% in the Eurozone and European Union.
On an annualized basis, the energy sector producer prices surged 87.2% and 83.6% in the euro area and the EU, respectively.
Annually, February industrial producer prices surged the most in Ireland as Slovakia led the monthly charts.
