The euro area’s seasonally adjusted production in the construction sector was stable in March after jumping 1.1% in February.

Across the European Union, construction production rose 0.2% during the month.
On an annual basis, construction output rose by 3.3% in the eurozone and 4.1% in the EU. In the euro area, building construction rose by 3.4% and civil engineering by 3.3%.
The highest annual increases in production in construction were reported in Poland (+27.7%), Slovenia (+12.3%), and Hungary (+10.5%).
The largest annual decreases were reported in Spain (-7.7%), Belgium (-2.2%), Germany (-0.4), and Austria (-0.2%).
