ADAUSD is down -7.99%
The announcement notes that Cardano features will be hosted on Ledger Live’s desktop version, with the mobile support expected soon. Ledger Live supports the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.
Users must create an ADA address with no additional wallet to manage ADA Ledger devices. The feature also allows for the purchase of cryptocurrencies directly through the applications.
Cardano has reportedly outperformed Ethereum recently, up more than 88% against it after making a recent low. The network’s performance is material since it competes with Ethereum as a blockchain network that manages smart contracts.
The network gas recorded growth with more than 5 million native assets minted on top of the blockchain, increasing the figure seen in the past year by almost 100%. Native ADA tokens have seen a recent surge ahead of the Vasil hard fork.
Ledger was co-founded in 2014 by Eric Larchevêque, Joel Pobeda, Thomas France, and Nicolas Bacca. The company first announced the move to support ADA in April 2022.
