ADA is down 9.25%, while BTC is down 9.04%.
The Djed public testnet for the Cardano chain was rolled out by payment solutions firm COTI, which noted that the latest development comes after “months of intense work.”
Testers, however, have reported a number of error messages in the public testnet, including “invalid collateral type” and “unavailable request” prompts. COTI has since assured that errors will be corrected by the mainnet launch in June.
The launch beats contenders LiqwidX, which is planning to launch a testnet within the second quarter and mainnet by the third quarter, and ADADAO, which expects to release the AUSD stablecoin “soon.”
The testnet version only tests ADA under the Nami wallet.
