Computacenter, the British information-technology group, anticipates reporting yet another record year of adjusted pretax profit in 2023. This achievement is a testament to the strength of their business model and geographic diversity, as well as an increase in strategic investment.
While the specific figure was not disclosed, Computacenter reported an adjusted pretax profit of £263.7 million ($334.6 million) last year. The company expects to surpass this remarkable performance.
In terms of revenue, Computacenter experienced a 12% growth on both a reported and constant currency basis, primarily fueled by strong growth in technology sourcing and services. Although last year’s revenue figure was not provided, it amounted to GBP6.47 billion.
Notably, the company experienced significant service revenue growth in Germany and North America, which offset the weaker performance in the U.K.
Looking ahead to 2024, Computacenter remains optimistic despite the uncertain macroeconomic backdrop. The company believes it is well-positioned to compete and continue gaining market share.
As of 0823 GMT, shares of Computacenter had risen by 0.35%, or 10.0 pence, reaching 2,880.0 pence.
