Canada’s inflation escalated 3.6% in May, the highest since 2011.

Consumer price inflation rose to 3.6%, up from April’s 3.4%.
Economists had predicted a 3.5% rise in May.
Monthly rise was 0.5% against a 0.4% rise expectation.
The Bank of Canada has shrugged the rise linking it to one-off factors.
