The donation is set to be split between major intergovernmental and non-profit organizations that include the UN Refugee Agency, UNICEF, and UNHCR.
Binance said it has launched a crypto-first crowdfunding site, dubbed Ukraine Emergency Relief Fund, to enable people to donate crypto.
The crypto exchanges say it is working with several local refugee groups to facilitate the passage of Ukrainians across the border to neighboring nations.
Binance Charity has, since it was founded in 2018, donated $10 million for projects targeting global disasters and tackling complex global issues.
