Beiersdorf, the German personal-care company, has raised its sales guidance for the full year after a strong performance in the first nine months. The company now expects organic sales growth to be in the low double-digit range, surpassing its previous forecast of growth in the high single-digit to low double-digit range.
Sales for the period ending September 30 reached €7.26 billion ($7.69 billion), showing a 7.8% increase compared to the previous year. On an organic basis, sales grew by an impressive 11.2%.
In its statement, Beiersdorf highlighted its significant growth momentum in the third quarter, resulting in continued double-digit sales growth throughout the first nine months of 2023.
The consumer segment led the way with organic sales growth of 13.6%, driven by popular brands such as Nivea, Eucerin, and Aquaphor. However, the tesa segment faced a more challenging market environment, with organic growth limited to 1.3% on a year-on-year basis.
Beiersdorf’s improved sales performance reflects its ongoing success and strong market presence. The company continues to prioritize delivering high-quality personal-care products to meet the evolving needs of consumers worldwide.
